This $1,000 check to support the American Red Cross, presented by our founder and president Rudy Bustamante (slightly disheveled after a full day of post-Irma clean-up work), is our organization's initial contribution to what will be a lengthy recovery for so many families in our state, especially in the Florida Keys, which suffered such devastation.
Later today, the MWYF team will announce the details of its HURRICANE IRMA RELIEF FUND CAMPAIGN, so stay tuned and find out how you can join us in assisting our neighbors and friends get their lives back on track.
Thank you in advance for your friendship and support!
We support South Florida charities & community organizations that counsel, mentor & assist disadvantaged youths in foster care with their vital needs.
“For years, I have been concerned with the difficulties that our community’s foster youths face, especially when they leave the system and face the world by themselves,” says Rudy Bustamante. “I wanted to make a difference in their lives. Last year, I recruited a group of outstanding colleagues and friends to help me give these kids a fighting chance at developing their full potential.”
